Karakoram Prime SL Split Snowboard Binding Orange/Purple, M Review

My Karakoram Prime SL Split Snowboard Binding Orange/Purple, M came in amazingly nice packaging, but this is last good thing about it. I am disappointed by Karakoram, and I won't be buying anything from them.

Karakoram Prime SL Split Snowboard Binding Orange/Purple, M Description

Looking to shave grams off your current touring setup, but don't want to sacrifice solid board connection, energy transfer, and touring efficiency? An uncompromising solution to saving serious weight on the long uphill skin, the Karakoram Prime SL Split Snowboard Binding is ridiculously lightweight, with high levels of energy transfer and rock-solid board connection. New for this year, the binding's Air-Form ankle strap provides an articulated fit over your boot without nasty pressure points or pinching. The toe strap retains its Air Strap design for a snug, supportive fit without the excess material or weight slowing you down on longer tours. A bit softer than Karakoram's carbon-infused bindings, the Prime SL Split Binding features an Airflow highback that's cored-out for a bit more lateral flex and an ultra-lightweight feel. Ride mode delivers 0o to 22o of forward lean (2o adjustable increments) for quick-turning response when you're charging steeps. This mid-flexing split binding uses Karakoram's Prime Interface for a completely solid feel underfoot, without unnerving seam slop or high-speed chatter. Its Solid Ride four-point attachment increases your stance options (-30o to 30o) and improves ergonomics. Four wide, pre-loaded contact points direct energy to the edges for unmatched response and control when you're riding steep, high-consequence terrain. Ditching traditional climbing wires for a two-height riser that deploys with the simple flick of your pole basket, the Flip-Speed Riser conquers mellow approaches and more demanding ascents alike. Engage the shorter riser on long, flatter approaches or f...
